Supporting Navy’s Integration of Surface-to-Surface Missile Module

WINTEC was awarded a $326K contract, with options totaling $1.082M, to support the Navy’s integration of the Surface-to-Surface Missile Module (SSMM) on the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS).

The contract includes modification of WINTEC’s Multiple Launcher Emulator (MLE) baseline hardware and software applicable to all Hellfire missile models.

The modifications will support full shipboard system integration of two SSMMs each comprising six M-299 launchers supporting 24 Longbow Hellfire missiles (Navy LC8).

The MLE6L emulator systems enable faster development and integration of the SSMMs onboard the LCS through replicating the identical platform-to-launcher interface interaction as though the actual launchers/missiles were installed.

Additional monitoring, logging, and fault injection aid in robustness testing of the SSMM systems and software integration.
